February 7: Handing-over of the award certificates of the 2022 EMC Student Contest – bestowed by the IEEE Germany Section EMC Society Chapter – to Mr. Maximilian Helmich (left in the picture) and Mr. Kilian Makswit (right in the picture). Mr. Helmich and Mr. Makswit generated their contribution to the contest as an element of the EMC lecture by Prof. Schuster.
February 2 -3: This year’s Industry-Academic Forum on Electromagnetic Compatibility (www.emcforum.eu) took place February at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and brought together over 70 EMC experts from industry and academia. The event was organized by the Institut für Theoretische Elektrotechnik, TUHH, with Prof. Schuster as General Chair. The EMC Forum is a European network where experts, engineers, researchers, and students in the field of EMC come together to discuss and exchange the latest developments, trends, and challenges.

Prof. Gronwald had been professor at the Institut für Theoretische Elektrotechnik of TUHH before accepting the position as head of the institute of “Reliability of Technical Systems and Electrical Measurement” in Siegen.
