July 13: Visit of Prof. Renato Rimolo-Donadio and farewell of Luis Ernesto Carrera Retana, both from the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (ITCR or TEC). Mr. Carrera Retana is a Ph. D. student at TEC and has been spending the last three months at the Institute and TUHH as an academic guest.

March 15: Farewell of Dr.-Ing. Miroslav Kotzev from the University Siegen who has worked for two years at the Institute of Electromagnetic Theory.

March 6: Third “International ElectroMagnetic Proficiency Test” (iEMPT) at TUHH. Three voluntary participants from TUHH’s Master’s program in Electrical Engineering signed up for this international test regarding Classical Electrodynamics and Transmission Line Theory.

Both professors took part in the “Costa Rican – German Days of Innovation” in San Jose, Costa Rica, December 6-8, organized by the Costa Rican Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications (MICITT) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
