Hamideh Esmaeili received her Bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2013, specializing in electromagnetics engineering and power delivery network design on printed circuit boards. She received her Master degree in electrical engineering with a focus on microwave engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in 2017. During her master thesis she investigated phase noise reduction in microwave oscillators.

Since 2016, Hamideh Esmaeili has worked in several companies and research institutes as a microwave engineer in the areas of circuit design for communication systems and optimization of mobile network communication. In 2021 she was a project assistant at the Christian Doppler Lab in the Institute of Microwave and Photonic Engineering in Technical University of Graz, Austria. Her experience falls in the areas of RF and microwave circuit design including power amplifiers, oscillators, filters, and engineering electromagnetics in general.

In November 2021 she joined the Institute of Electromagnetic Theory at the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH), Germany. Her current research interests include electromagnetic compatibility, bio-electromagnetics and application of machine learning methods to those fields.
